When Jacqui’s husband Rob Frost died, she wasn’t prepared for the knock out blow of grief.  Like so many bereaved people, she felt wounded physically and emotionally.  Her feeling of isolation was acute. It was a bleak, very lonely time.

Jacqui is a textile artist. She felt an urge to link her grief with some artistic and also physical actions.  She took up running, and as she ran, she slowly started to develop ideas of how her thoughts might form part of some artwork that could be an outlet for her feelings.  This remarkable graphic book is one result.

Here you have expressions of raw grief openly displayed, thoughts and feelings shared which many people would be reluctant to express.

This book will touch and reassure many readers affected by bereavement.
